| PROJECT NOTIFICATION DISCLAIMER |
| Due to construction variability, updates typically do not include specific details such as day-to-day scheduled activity. The city's inspector or contractor will notify occupants directly if they will be impacted by a utility service shut down (for example, water shutoff) or work (such as excavation or new curb) that will impede access to the property for hours or days. |

The City has hired the engineering firm ISG as the design and construction consultant for this project. A kick-off meeting was held on July 8, 2025. Traffic data was collected at the intersection of Great Plains and Lake Drive East the week of June 30 for the purposes of evaluating the intersection configuration and whether an alternate layout may be better suited. Other than the potential full reconstruction of the intersection, the rest of the project is likely limited to pavement rehabilitation. Property owners adjacent to the corridor should look out for a mailed survey/questionnaire concerning the direct impacts of construction to their property. Please fill that out and return it to the City or ISG as directed in the letter. A public open house will be held sometime in early fall to review the feasibility study findings for the project. Notices will be mailed to nearby property owners and the city's communications channels will advertise the open house. Private property assessments are intended to be part of the project per the City's Assessment Policy, and properties that have direct driveway access onto either Great Plains Blvd or Lake Drive East will be subject to an assessment.
