The City of Chanhassen is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the Environmental Commission. Terms begin in April 2026 and are for three years unless otherwise noted. No prior experience is required to apply. Applicants will be required to interview with the City Council.  Applications will be taken until Friday, March 20, 2026 at Noon. Interviews and appointments will be made on March 23, 2025.

Environmental Commission

This commission acts as a public outreach and education board for the City Council. Issues addressed by the Commission include water quality, forestry, stormwater management, and water conservation education. Meetings occur on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.
