Overview
The Adopt-a-Siren program is a chance for residents to give back to their community by volunteering to monitor the emergency sirens in their neighborhood. All it takes is five minutes once a month to help us make sure one important piece of our community's emergency response systems are functioning properly.
There are nine sirens located throughout Chanhassen (see map). They are tested at 1 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.
Program Perks
Members of the Adopt-a-Siren Program are eligible for the following perks:
- City Council recognition at a City Council meeting.
- An annual feature in the Chanhassen Connection magazine or special News article.

- An annual BBQ at the Chanhassen Fire Department for adopters and their families (more details coming soon).
