Birthday Candles, Ives Theater, Bloomington

  Every year, Ernestine bakes a cake and celebrates with her family on her birthday - a delicious ritual that unfolds onstage across 90 years of birthdays. Through glimpses of Ernestine's life as the years go by, Birthday Candles tenderly explores motherhood, family, love, loss and finding our place in the universe. Prior to the show, enjoy a delicious lunch of creamy chicken breast, roasted red potatoes, glazed carrots, coleslaw, dinner rolls, assorted desserts, coffee and hot tea.

Mason Dixon Line Performs “Hot Country Nights”

• We’ll travel by motorcoach to Coyote Moon Grill for a buffet lunch, then head to the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud to enjoy Mason Dixon Line (MDL)—the Midwest’s premier country-rock band. 
• Formed in 2018 by brothers Justin and Jason Ploof with Micah Barrett and Tony Mazzone, Mason Dixon Line offer fans a chance to enjoy a show filled with country music hits. They are known for their engaging performances and have been a supporting act for many country music legends.

SW Transit Tutorial and Test Ride

• A “hands on” field trip on how to use this local, easy and inexpensive bus system for rides to and from the MSP airport, and other 494 corridor shopping and medical sites. 
• Attendees drive themselves to the Eden Prairie SW Transit Station for a tutorial and a tour.
