  • Chanhassen has a rich history of settlers, farmers, businessmen, bankers and showmen—it is still reaping the results of these forerunners who built this city as we know it today. Speakers from the Chanhassen's History Center provide a fun and informative look back, with many local stories and artifacts which highlight the city's storied past.

Octoberfest Lunch and Polka Band

  • Ein Prosit! It's time to put your polka shoes on and toe tap, dance, sing and laugh your way through our annual Octoberfest event at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. You'll enjoy a traditional German meal of brats, sauerkraut, potato salad, dessert and beverages, followed by a fun filled performance of the amazing 4-member Jolly Huntsman Band. 

Veterans and Friends Pancake Breakfast

  • This annual pancake breakfast is always a hit with veterans, friends and family! Breakfast is served from 8:45 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., including all-you-can-eat pancakes, with a side of sausage, fruit, juice and coffee. At 9:30, settle into a fascinating history presentation by David Jones on "The Statue of Liberty: Built Amid Impossible Odds." Sponsored by the Chanhassen American Legion and Auxiliary.

Spot and Avoid Frauds and Scams

  • Scamming is rampant, especially around the holidays and especially to seniors. Nicolet Bank and the MN Commerce Department combine their knowledge and experience to help you learn how to spot and avoid fraud and scams. You will also learn how to get help if you get caught up in one.

From Elegy to Elation, D.A.S. Trio Concert

  • A unique Saturday program of classical music, expressing the heights and depths of composers like Beethoven, Ravel, and Albeniz. With piano, violin, chello and flute combinations, it’s a small symphony of beautiful sound.

Annual Holiday Celebration

GREAT Theatre: 9 to 5 Featuring the Music of Dolly Parton

A Christmas Carol – The Musical with Lunch at the Ives Theater
