Overview

Lake Ann Park is Chanhassen's premier community park! This 102-acre park is located at 1456 West 78th Street. The site's topography has gently rolling hills, while the western quarter of the park is in dense tree cover.

Lake Ann Park is unique due to the presence of beautiful Lake Ann. This quiet, non-motorized lake offers solitude, clean water, and 100% undeveloped shores.

Concessions and Watercraft Rentals

The Lake Ann concessions and watercraft rentals  are officially open for the 2026 season. The concession stand is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., though please note that all watercraft rentals must end by 6:00 p.m. Visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddleboats, rowboats, and electric motors directly at the Lake Ann Park beach concession stand.

Rentals are available from Memorial Day weekend through approximately the third week of August and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. To rent equipment, individuals must be at least 18 years old and present a valid photo ID or driver's license at the time of the transaction. Additionally, all users must be 14 years of age or older to operate any watercraft or equipment.
