Thank you to everyone who came out to the 2026 Easter Egg Candy Hunt! We had another great year, despite the chilly weather. We hope to see you next year!

2027 Easter Egg Candy Hunt: Saturday, March 27

Wave 1: 9:00 a.m.
Wave 2: 10:00 a.m.
City Center Park

The City of Chanhassen’s Easter Egg Candy Hunt annually draws over 800 children (plus their family members). Kids ages 12 and under hunt for candy and eggs in different age-appropriate categories. Participants have the chance to find special eggs that are redeemable for prizes and can also enjoy a special appearance from the Easter Bunny!

Coloring Contest

Submit entries by Sunday, April 5.

Coloring contest pages are free and available at City Hall, the Chanhassen Recreation Center, and can be downloaded below. Entries will be judged according to age category, ages 0-12. Participation is free.

There are three options for turning in your entries:

  1. Drop off at Chanhassen City Hall or the Chanhassen Recreation Center by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 3.
  2. Drop off at the Easter Egg Candy Hunt on Saturday, April 4.
  3. Online submission below by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 5.
