Effective January 1, 2022: All permits must be applied for online. 

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Permits are required for most HVAC work, including installing or replacing a furnace, air conditioner, fireplace, wood stove, or HRV unit.

For furnace replacement, a fresh air intake must be installed if not existing.
