The City of Chanhassen has reopened the intersection at W 78th St and Galpin Blvd, restoring access to Highway 5 and marking a major milestone in the Galpin Boulevard Improvement Project. The project is nearing completion on rebuilding the corridor from Highway 5 to the northern municipal boundary, adding roundabouts, turn lanes, multi-use trails, stormwater improvements, lighting and new utilities.
