Outside of a few approved exception areas, the last day of drilling for fiber optic work throughout the city was November 15. Restoration and cable pulling will continue until freeze up. Drilling will resume in the spring under the direction of private internet providers. Though these are not city projects, the city will continue keeping residents informed as part of its responsibility to transparent communication.
