PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Chanhassen has completed and submitted our water service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).

The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the MDH Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT), the city’s service line inventory GIS dashboard or you may also contact the city at (952) 227-1701.

In order to complete the water service line inventory, the City reviewed asbuilts and tie-cards, photo documented service lines in homes as part of the recent citywide water meter replacement program, replaced service lines as part of a recent capital project, and/or made individual site visits to suspect properties.

As of 09/16/2024, Chanhassen’s inventory contains:

• Zero (0) lead water services.
• Zero (0) galvanized services that requires replacement.
• 120 service lines of unknown (unverified) material.
• 8,665 confirmed non-lead water service lines.
