Chanhassen neighborhoods are invited to compete for prizes and recognition while helping local firefighters prepare for emergencies through the city’s new "Ready Together" campaign.

The campaign challenges individual streets to achieve the highest participation rate in Community Connect, a program that allows residents to provide household information that may help firefighters respond more effectively during an emergency. Learn more about the program and sign-up here.

Street Prizes:

The street with the highest participation rate will work with the Chanhassen Fire Department to select a neighborhood prize. Possible prizes include a firefighter splash party, an ice cream social hosted by firefighters or a street sign recognizing the neighborhood as the 2026 Community Connect Champion.

The second-place street will receive coffee and doughnuts with firefighters and a fire station tour. The third-place street will receive a fire station tour.

Neighborhoods reaching a recognition level may also be recognized by the City Council and featured on the city website, social media and in the Chanhassen Connection.

Residents who register will also be entered into a drawing for individual prizes.

Neighborhood Recognition Levels:

Streets can earn three distinctions based on the percentage of homes registered:
• Bloom: 50% participation
• Grow: 75% participation
• Flourish: 90% participation

Participation results will be updated on the Community Risk Reduction page throughout the campaign.

Campaign Kickoff

"Ready Together"  officially launched during Night to Unite. Firefighters visiting neighborhood gatherings shared information about the competition and explained how residents can participate.

The winers will be announced at the Chanhassen Fire Department Open House on Monday, Sept. 28.
